Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Keystone Solar State website ("Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.
1. Service Description
Keystone Solar State operates as a solar lead generation and referral service. We connect Pennsylvania homeowners interested in solar energy with licensed solar installation companies, financing partners, and energy consultants. We do not install solar panels, sell electricity, or provide financing directly. All installation, financing, and energy services are provided by independent third-party partners.
2. Eligibility & Qualification
To qualify for our service, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a homeowner (not a renter)
- Own a single-family home, townhouse, or duplex suitable for rooftop solar installation
- Have an average monthly electric bill of $85 or higher
- Have a credit score of 650 or higher (for most financing programs)
- Not currently have solar panels installed on your property
- Not be planning to move or sell your property within the next 24 months
We reserve the right to disqualify submissions that do not meet these criteria.
3. Consent to Be Contacted
By submitting your information through our qualification form, you expressly consent to being contacted by up to four (4) solar companies, financing partners, or licensed contractors regarding solar products and services. Contact may include:
- Phone calls (including calls made using an automated telephone dialing system or artificial/pre-recorded voice)
- Text messages and SMS
- Emails
- Direct mail
You understand that your consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply. You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message, clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or contacting us directly at the information below.
4. No Government Affiliation
Keystone Solar State is a private company and is not affiliated with any federal, state, or local government agency, utility company, or state-sponsored program. References to "state-regulated net metering programs," "federal tax credits," or similar language on our site describe existing Pennsylvania and federal public utility laws and tax codes. These references do not constitute a government endorsement of our service.
5. No Guarantee of Savings or Results
We do not guarantee specific savings, energy production, financial outcomes, or approval for solar installation. Any savings estimates, payback periods, or financial projections provided by our partner companies are based on your current utility usage, roof conditions, shading, local electricity rates, and available incentives. Actual savings will vary based on energy consumption patterns, weather, system performance, and changes in utility rates.
6. Data Collection, Use & Sharing
We collect personal information including your name, home address, email address, phone number, utility provider, estimated monthly electric bill, credit score range, and home ownership status. This information is collected solely for the purpose of connecting you with appropriate solar providers and determining program eligibility.
By submitting your information, you acknowledge and agree that we may share your personal information with licensed solar installers, financing companies, and energy consultants for the purpose of providing quotes and evaluating your eligibility for solar programs. For complete details on how we handle your data, please review our Privacy Policy.
7. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Keystone Solar State does not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. We only share your information with select solar installation and financing partners for the purpose of fulfilling your request for solar information and quotes. If you wish to opt out of having your information shared with our partners, or if you have questions about how your data is used, please contact us using the information at the bottom of this page.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Keystone Solar State and its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or your interactions with any third-party solar company, financing partner, or contractor referred through our Service.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service (if any) or $100 USD, whichever is greater.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of Florida, without regard to their conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania or Florida.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
